All Nomads on deck

The New England Nomads’ horror month in the Tamworth Australian Football League is over.

With the return of the university students coach Brendan Meehan is hoping they’ll bring the club’s form back with them.

Meehan is confident the Nomads can win their remaining three games and secure a home semi-final.

The anticipated resurgence beings tomorrow when the Armidale side travel to take on the Swans.

The Nomads have defeated the fifth-placed Swans in both of their previous meetings this season.

Meehan said the feeling among the squad had already lifted a notch.

“Numbers have been up at training and you can notice the change in enthusiasm,” he said.

“I talked to a few of the university boys earlier this week and they all said they’d be there.

“It’ll be good to get the same blokes playing two weeks running and have a bit of cohesion, for the last five weeks we haven’t had the same team on the paddock.

“It’s all looking good.”
