Gunnedah forfeit to Nomads
Unfortunately the Gunnedah Bulldogs forfeited to the Nomads today. It was to be home town favourite Rowdy Ballagh’s 100th game to be played in front of a home crowd with some old boys around. It was not to be.
The Nomads did however play an 18-a-side scratch match which was played with remarkable intensity, with Frosty and Rambo Raymond leading the charge. Nonetheless, it was a real shame not have been playing for points.
Rowdy will now play his 100th game at Tamworth next week.

Dear Rowdy,
What a great effort! And I have had the pleasure of watching you play quite a number of those games! I have often said to supporters that if we had a whole team who put in as much effort and determination as you do, we would never be beaten!
All the best for Rowdy and the team at Tamworth.
