Nomads win at Bellevue
The Nomads squeezed past the Tamworth Swans by 35.15 (225) to 3.7 (25) in their first home fixture for 2014. New England charged out to a 64 point lead in the first quarter, kicking 11 goals. Perhaps unsurprisingly they lost their way in the second quarter with everybody trying to get in on the goalscoring act. Coach Economou put them straight at half time and the second half saw a further 19 goals added to their total.
