Ash Arkit 2025 New England Nomads’ Senior Coach
New to Armidale, the former South Australian did not need to be asked twice to be the onbe to steer the Nomads back into the 2025 North West competition, With experience in his playing days at Port Adelaide SANFL club and numerous competitions throughout South Australia and Western Australia, Ashely not only brings an Australian Rules football pedigree, he brings a team building and player management style of coaching, on and off the field which is exactly what is is required to bring AFL back to the New England.
After an extensive search, the committee has also appointed Leighton Smith as the women’s coach (more information to come in another post).
