Round 12 – Grey Nomads day – Nomads Men Win – Nomads Women have a loss
On July 15th the Nomads Men had a strong win. With lots of old Nomads in attendance the men beat a very undermanned Roos team 26 16 172 to the Roos .2 7 9. Fraser Menzies kicked 11 goals and youung Josh Miron and Ethan Karpany kicked 4 apiece. The award winners were J. Keough(Players’ Player), A. Molinaro- Rathsmann (Coach’s), F. Menzies (President’s), N. Leopardi (Captain’s), J. Miron (Meehan’s Plumbing Services’).
In the women’s game the Nomads were defeated by Tamworth Roos: 0.1.1 to 6.10.46. Best players for the Nomads were Kaitlyn Read, Anna Greenland, Molly Martin, Demi Bowd, Lucy Cole and Ella Crowley.
