Big Thanks to the Big Dawg

For the past three years James Treweeke has been at the helm of the Nomads but he has headed back to the apparently greener fields of Hardin. We are really grateful for all of the time and energy he put into the role.

He was a member of the victorious and undefeated 2016 premiership side. He was (and is) a wonderful tactician and student of the game. Against the odds in 2019 he coached us into the grand final and very nearly pulled off an upset against the Gunnedah Bulldogs. And in 2020 he was instrumental in getting a side together in COVID-interrupted season. It was very difficult with most university students off campus.

Over the past four years, (hamstrings permitting) he showed his versatility playing in the ruck, at centre half forward and at full forward. Often playing a kick behind the play he was a key figure in the 2016 side.

So thanks to James for all of his efforts over the past three years. Really appreciated [Photo below with Luke “Rambo” Raymond]
