Very long day at the Office up at Inverell
A very undermanned Nomads, who ended the match with only 14 players on the field, were monstered by over 100 points by the Inverell Saints. The Nomads were in the game in the first half until Wulu Hall was injured in a clash with the Frostman and took no further part in the game. Things went south after that with the Nomads being one short and then two; the overlap was deadly and Inverell took compplete advantage to kick 16 goalds in the second half. The game saw the very welcome return of Isaiah “Izzy” Graham who kicked 3 (one of the few bright lights for the Noeys). Conor Nest fought valiantly in the ruck while Luke Raymond, Frosty and the man from Beachport Liquid Minerals, Steve Ogilvie never gave up. The final scores for the game were Inverell 24.15.159 to the Nomads 5.4.34.
