Nomads unhappy in triumph

But the high standard New England Nomads coach Zac Economou and his troops have set themselves in recent years meant the defending premiers were far from fully satisfied with their win over the Narrabri Eagles.

The Nomads have continued their winning ways out at Narribri on Saturday. Zac Economou kicked 7, Rampaging Dave Richards 5 and young tyro Clarrie Barker kicked 4. Clarrie was also best afield with other notable performances coming from Tim Keys, Jed Ellis-Cluf and Luke ‘Rambo’ Raymond.

On Luke ‘Rambo’ Raymond’s 21st birthday, the Nomads played some champagne football against the Tamworth Swans.
