Nomads Win Way out West

The Nomads have maintained their unbeaten record after a 100 point defeat of the Narribri Eagles in Narribri. This had loomed as a danger game but large hauls from Weston Whitby and David Richards and excellent team play right across the park, ensured that the Nomads won comfortably. The final scores were 27.15.177 to 9.10.64.

From the Armidale Independent, 30/07/2014 Weston Whitby kicked nine goals in a dominant display against Narrabri on Saturday to remind the Tamworth AFL competition that he’s still one of the most dangerous players in the league. The New England Nomads skipper ran riot on the small Narrabri ground, racking up countless possessions for the visitors.

 The visitors won all four quarters to beat the Roos 17.15 (117) to 5.3 (38).
