This weekend will see no games in the TAFL as the Country Energy TAFL representative side head to Port Macquarie to do battle with the North Coast AFL side.

After a closely contested first quarter the New England Nomads ran out easy winners over the Gunnedah Bulldogs with a score Nomads 22-19-151 to Bulldogs 8-7-55.

The team to play the Bulldogs at Bellevue on 11 May is: B Julian Granleese Wells HB Ballagh Davies Cook C Machart Morrell Raymand HF Lambie Economou Archer F S. Dickson Ellis-Cluff Richards R Elson J. Freund Graan Interchange: Frost   T. Dickson   Macdonald    Falvey Be at Bellevue by 12:30pm.

A great team effort by the Nomads resulted in a convincing win of 19-19 (133) to 10-8 (68). With all players showing a willingness to put their bodies on the line, the Nomads proved too strong for the Tamworth side.
