The Nomads and the UNE ANFC Old Boys and Girls will be celebrating 50 years of footy at UNE on 4 August.

There are a number of activities taking place around the Nomads v Saints fixture:

• jumper presentation by UNE ANFC Old Boys and Girls to their Nomad contemporaries;
• coin toss by UNE VC and Nomads patron Jim Barber; and
• half-time address by UNE Chancellor Richard Torbay.

Accompanied by BBQ and ample opportunities for refreshment.

In the evening, the Nomads Ball will be held at the Wicklow Hotel. Tickets cost $80; covering a 3-course meal, entertainment and complimentary drinks. Smart dress is required.

Many of the UNE ANFC Old Boys and Girls will be arriving in Armidale on the Friday. They are planning to meet up for dinner, drinks and AFL viewing at 7pm on Friday in the Wicklow; and for breakfast at 10am on the Saturday morning at Thunderbolts Inn in Uralla.
