The Tamworth Swans are the Country Energy TAFL Premiers for 2009, defeating the Inverell Saints by 13.13 (91) to 11.16 (82) in Inverell. Having established a lead in the second quarter, the Swans maintained it in the third and then hung on as the Saints threw everything at them in the final period.
