Tablelands Cup brimming over
With over a month still to go until the Tablelands Cup takes place on March 28 all six places in the competition have been filled on a first come first served basis.
The Nomads are seeking to retain the Cup that they host annually and won for the first time in 2008. The competition will be tough as they will line up against the Inverell Saints, Sawtell Saints, Tamworth Swans, Gunnedah Bulldogs and Nambucca Valley Lions. Sawtell are the reigning North Coast AFL Premiers while Inverell were the TAFL Minor Premiers and losing Grand Finalists in 2008.
Due to the constraints of playing the tournament on a single day no more places are available, North Coffs already having had to be turned away. Better luck next year.
