The New England Nomads may have come up short on the field this year, bowing out in the preliminary final a fortnight ago, but there is still one last prize on offer to the club.

The club’s jersey has been named as one of 20 finalists in a nationwide search to find Australia’s favourite jumper.

A $10,000 prize is on offer for the publicly voted award, which is being run by the Australian Football League as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations.

The winner will be announced next Wednesday.
