The fourth meeting between the Nomads and Bulldogs was another tough, tight encounter. Having held the Bulldogs to two goals in the first quarter despite a strong breeze, the Nomads built a three goal half time lead. In the second half the match became even tighter, with the Bulldogs hitting the front in the fourth quarter before the Nomads came good again at the end.

Match-day awards went to Rich Malone (Players’ Player and Coach’s), Ed Nixon (President’s) and Dylan McGrath (Captain’s). In the absence of Rich and Ed, Dylan McGrath, Glen Northway and Anthony Reid generously took on the drinking duties.

The Nomads goalkickers were: Weston Whitby (7), Rich Malone (3), Sam Trotman and Adrian Walsh.
