The Narrabri Eagles have withdrawn from this year’s TAFL competition following a disappointing response to their extensive recruitment efforts. The club are taking a year out and hope to return to the competition in 2009.

As a result the 2008 TAFL competition will revert to a 6 team draw with three complete cycles (15 rounds) of matches in the regular season.
