Auskickers off to Tamworth training clinic
From the Armidale Express, 10/08/2007
Armidale Auskick will travel to Tamworth tomorrow to play three inter-clinic junior AFL matches.
This follows a successful series of matches played against Tamworth in Armidale in May.
The matches against Tamworth build on the growing inter-town rivalry and mark one of the highlights of the Auskick calendar.
“Our numbers have grown more rapidly than at Tamworth this year and we are pretty much on a par with them as an Auskick centre in terms of size,” Armidale Auskick coordinator Craig Collins said.
“The main object, though, is for the kids t obond as a team representing Armidale – wearing their Nomads jumpers – and to have lots of fun in more of a real-match kind of situation.”
