Nomad cohesion the key for Eagle affair

The New England Nomads will be trying to develop some team cohesion in the Tamworth Australian Football League when they face the Narrabri Eagles tomorrow.
The Nomads struggled with numbers during the university break with a combination of injury and player unavailability.
However, the New England team finally managed to put a solid team on the park against Muswellbrook last week and came up with the goods.
Nomads coach Adrian Walsh’s only complaint with that win was that New England didn’t put the Cats away early enough after earning a solid halftime lead.
He’s expecting a tougher game tomorrow than the standings on the table would suggest and knows the Nomads will need to be on form if they want to come up with the goods.
“We can’t take the Eagles lightly,” Walsh said.
“Our biggest problem is that we haven’t played together much.”
In other games, the Tamworth Kangaroos play Gunnedah and the Swans take on the Inverell Saints.
