Armidale Auskick 2007 kicked off at Bellevue last Friday with a visit from Robert ‘Dipper’ DePierdomenico. Over forty Auskickers, plus parents and assorted members and supporters of the Nomads were in attendance as Dipper introduced the Auskick programme and then joined in an Auskick session.

Craig Collins was presented with a much-deserved Volunteer Recognition award by the manager of the local branch of the NAB, who are the national Auskick sponsors. Craig has been coordinator of the Armidale Auskick programme for the past two years. With the help and support of the parents he has made it a great success with a large number of participants and forming an energetic, integral part of the Nomads community. Congratulations, Craig.

A very successful afternoon; fun was had, sausages were sizzled and the sun shone.
