Dipper comes to town
From the Armidale Express, 19/02/2007
This Friday will see Bellevue Oval host an Auskick clinic.
The clinic, which is open to all ages, which also feature an appearance from former AFL great Robert ‘Dipper’ DePierdomenico.
Dipper played more than 240 games for Hawthorn in their golden era between the mid 1970s and his retirement in 1991, along the way winning four premierships and five pre-season titles with the Hawks, including a best on park in 1978 and a Brownlow Medal in 1986.
Any current or prospective players are invited to attend the session, which will kick off at 3.30pm.
It promises to be a fantastic afternoon, and with one of the true legends of the game in attendance, there has never been a better time to get in and support the game and the New England Nomads.
