It’s Official, NAB AFL Auskickers are winners!

NAB AFL Auskick participant Samuel Campbell from Armidale has won the opportunity of a lifetime to play on the MCG at halftime of the 2006 Toyota AFL Grand Final, thanks to the AFL and National Australia Bank.Samuel will be accompanied by a guardian and will travel to Melbourne to participate in Grand Final activities from Thursday of Grand Final week.
NAB AFL Auskick Ambassador Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico said being in Melbourne for the biggest week in Australia’s sporting calendar was the opportunity of a lifetime.
“If you love your football, the grand final is the place to be. I’m looking forward to meeting 94 children from all over Australia and I know from experience the grand final is the ultimate experience,” Dipper said.
Winners will also join Dipper in the AFL Toyota Grand Final Parade plus they will visit AFL World and participate in the Grand Final pre-match entertainment. A select number of the children involved in this experience will also win the opportunity to present a Premiership Medal to one of the players from the winning team.
How did they get so lucky? Simply by registering in the 2006 NAB AFL Auskick program.
Every NAB AFL Auskick participant across Australia, aged between five and 12, was automatically entered into the competition, which was electronically drawn on Monday 14 August at AFL House in Melbourne. One winner from each of the 94 development regions across Australia was selected making this one of the biggest kids’ competitions of its kind. This competition demonstrates that NAB AFL Auskick is a truly national program that benefits all participants regardless of their demographic.
