It was a magnificent result for the New England Nomads in the first round of the Tamworth Australian Football League on the weekend.

The Nomads were victorious against the Tamworth Swans. The team had a tough ask against the winner of the 2006 Tablelands Cup but enthusiasm won the day for the young side. New England managed a score of 11.9.75 to Tamworth’s 7.10.52.
