The New England Nomads have booked themselves a preliminary final berth against the Tamworth Kangaroos after despatching the Tamworth Swans with a six goals to two final quarter in Tamworth yesterday.

After a great team effort to get over Narrabri a fortnight ago, the Nomads put in a pretty lacklustre effort on the weekend to be soundly beaten by Gunnedah. New England Nomads are back on track for a finals berth, and perhaps even a home final, after an impressive 13 point win over the Narrabri Eagles on Saturday.

The Nomads made the long bus trip to Narrabri on the weekend with their season on the line. They came home with a hard fought 13-point win, and a spot in the 2nd semi final secured.
