Nomads Fall Short in the First Game of the Season

The New England Nomads, with a number of new Nomads on board, fell short by 13 point against last year’s premiers Inverell in what was a tightly contested game at the Bellevue in Armidale. Angus Quail kicked five for the Nomads but this was not enough to see the Nomads over the line. Final scores were Inverell 13.12.90 to the Nomads 12.5.77. Best players for the Nomads were Luke Raymind, the ever-green Thomas Hunt, newcomers Josh Croft and Callum O’Loughlin, Angus Quail and Guyra’s finest Steve Ogilvie.
