Nomads reappoint Economou for 2015

The New England Nomads Australian Football Club are delighted to announce that 2014 premiership coach, Zac Economou, will again take the reigns for season 2015. Assisting him will be club stalwart Adrian Walsh and 2013 best and fairest Jed Ellis Cluff.

Preseason will officially begin early January with a preseason camp (+ practice match) at the coast once uni resumes and then of course our annual Sport UNE Tablelands Cup in late March.

With 2015 looming, we see the Nomads placed probably the best they ever have to win another flag. We are charting in unknown waters of going for 4-in-a-row. Do you want to be part of history?

If you are new to town or uni, then this is the best place to meet people and make life-long friends. We have players from every state and territory PLUS some international flavour of Botswana and NZ! 95% of our players have turned up not knowing anyone. If you are interested in playing next year or know of a friend or family interested please email coach@newenglandnomads.net.

Stay tuned for a number of social events leading up to Christmas with some light muck around footy sessions and pool competitions at major sponsor the Wicklow Hotel.
