Cardiff lift the Tablelands Cup

Cardiff picked up the Tablelands Cup on Saturday, beating Coff Swans in the final of a high quality footy competition. The Nomads won two and lost two to finish in third spot.

The day was very successful with positive feedback from the visiting clubs. Thanks are due to many people for contributing to this, but Tom Granleese put in an enormous amount of work chasing up teams, organising the venue and doing all the other organisational details that people don’t see.

In addition, thanks to Brendan and Leisa Meehan who organised and ran the BBQ all day in cheerful spirits. Big mentions to Dave Bioletti (running water and generally helping out while asking curious questions), Sam Bioletti (goal umpire and general roustabout), Brendan Nolan (general help) and Gus Barker (goal umpire and general help). Thanks also to everyone that arrived early to help set up or lent a hand in some capacity during the day. It is much appreciated.
