From the Armidale Express, 11/05/2009 The New England Nomads are currently on top of the Tamworth Australian Football League (TAFL) competition ladder after the Muswellbrook Cats forfeited Saturday’s scheduled match.
Muswellbrook have forfeited this weekend’s Country Energy TAFL fixture at Bellevue Oval. There will be a practice match on Saturday afternoon instead. Nomad players and anyone else that would like to participate to increase the numbers should be at Bellevue in plenty of time to warm up before the match starts at 2pm.
