Player unavailability forces New England to concede to Inverell By Michael Morrissey (Armidale Express, 06/07/2007) The New England Nomads have been forced to forfeit tomorrow’s game against the Tamworth Australian Football League leaders Inverell with an estimated 19 players unavailable.

Due to a lengthy injury list, school and university holidays the club is unable to field a side this week. As a result Inverell Saints have been informed that the match scheduled for July 7 has been forfeited.

From the Armidale Express, 02/07/2007 The New England Nomads had an easy win over the Gunnedah Bulldogs in miserable conditions at Bellevue Oval on Saturday.

In cold, showery conditions the Nomads defeated the Gunnedah Bulldogs 12.14 (86) to 2.7 (19).
