Armidale v Tamworth Inaugural Auskick Clash

Armidale Auskick will host Tamworth Auskick for an inaugural clash at Bellevue Oval on Saturday, 24 June 2006. About 30 Tamworth Auskickers will travel up the hill to initiate what is sure to become a healthy aussie rules rivalry between the two centres. Three matches will be played for the following age groups: 5-7 year olds (from 11.45am); 8-9 year olds (from 12.15pm); and 10 and over (from 12.45pm). Games will be run with 4 x 10 minute quarters. The Armidale Auskickers will get to wear their junior Nomads jerseys (supplied by sponsor Veterinary Health Research) for the first time in competition against another Auskick regional centre. Players will also enjoy a sausage sizzle before cheering the senior Nomads and Tamworth Swans onto the ground at 2.00pm for their TAFL top-of-the-table clash.

Armidale Teams: 5-7 year olds: Clarrie Barker, Warwick Byrnes, Ruby Campbell, Jock Campbell, Katie Collins, Jordan Johnson, Jack Keynes, Cameron Lankester, Turner Lynch, Harry McKenzie, David Miller and James Murphy. 8-9 year olds: Will Brissett, Nick Burke, Sam Campbell, Alexander Chambers, Ben Collins, Hayden Dyall, Charlton Grant, Jarod Hartung, Rhys Hillard, Philip McBride, Henry Page and Andrew Spokes. 10 and over: Alex Burke, Jack Campbell, Mark Carolan, Sam Colbran, Jesse Constance, Jackson Gilbey, Harrison Grant, Cameron Norbury, Nicholas Page, Cameron Ranck, Josh Taylor and Tom Walsh.
